The Outer Banks
My face is burning. I think it is from the wind on the beach. Or maybe the sun. I am in Okracoke, at the end of the 60-something mile stretch on the beach. Most of the beaches have been deserted, save for the occasional fisherman and his truck. And washed up mysterious shoes and animals and shipwrecks(!!!) The clouds and dunes and sunrises have been beautiful, I have been staying relatively warm and mostly dry. I'm too tired to fully rehash the last week.

Hope you're ready for the cold. Maybe it won't be bad near the coast. I'll be in the Smokies this weekend near 0 degrees. Should be fun!
Bugs, You're probably past here by now but on the off chance...I'm a maintainer for the Neusiok portion of the Trail.
